Manual reading
The software can work in automatic mode. Just place a RFID tag on the cover of
the RFID reader and click on the Reading button. Software will make a try to read
the tag and search for information in SMDS / SpaceTrax database if the connection
has been described in the setup.
Select Manual reading from the menu makes the following changes. :
- a check sign is placed in front of Manual reading.
- message area will look as following
- reading mode area = Manual Mode.
Note: default reading mode is set to Automatic
Trace
Trace allows storing the read Tags ID and additional information coming from SMDS
/ SpaceTrax database if connection has been configured.
If the parameters of the Trace have not been configured in the Setup screen, the
Trace option is grayed in the menu
. (see Setup screen p18 to configure
Trace and activate this option).
